Promotion and funding of cycling
As a climate-friendly form of mobility, cycling makes an important contribution to achieving the Federal Government’s climate change targets and is a relevant part of the mobility mix in Germany. Therefore, funds are made available through various programmes to promote and finance cycling.
In 2025, funding will be continued at the current level, with a slight increase in financial resources. This will ensure the continuous development and strengthening of cycling.
